Drink Master Says, a game that is fun to play but easy enough to bring with you to a party. This means no big ol' board game with bunches of parts that can be lost either during transport or while in a drunken stupor.
When I was first approached about reviewing this game, I was excited. I mean, I get to play a game, get my drink on, and it's for work?? Oh heck yeah, I was on board! It sounded like beer pong and shuffleboard smooshed together to form a unique drinking game.
I have to admit that I was a tad bit intrigued when I was first approached about writing a review for DIY Cocktails: A Simple Guide to Creating Your Own Signature Drinks. I mean, a book that not only gives you recipes, but also helps you to create your own? Hmmmmm... sounded interesting and definitely different. I couldn't wait to dive in and see what it was all about.
While the cover and shape of Big Shots: The Men Behind the Booze looked pretty interesting, and the shot glass on the front looked real enough to pluck right off and drink, I was afraid it was going to be one of those textbook, just-the-facts-ma'am kind of books that pretty much bores you to tears. Wow, was I in for one heckuva surprise.
