Strawberry Vodka

If you order a fruity drink at the bar, chances are pretty good that it contains strawberries or strawberry flavoring. But, with the growing popularity of infused vodka, your next fruity drink might just contain strawberry vodka. If you want to try strawberry vodka at home, you can either buy one of the many available brands or you can make your own. Simply clean, hull, and half ripe strawberries, add them to a clean glass container, and add a bottle of vodka. Allow the mixture to rest for a week so that the flavors marry. Once the vodka has reached the desired flavor, strain out the berries. If the resulting vodka isn’t sweet enough, you can add simple syrup to taste.
