Cloudberry Liqueur

Cloudberries are grown in the forests of Norway, not commercially, and are only available during part of the year. So, Cloudberry Liquor is likely to be Norwegian, hard to find, expensive and sweet! It is a yellowish orange color. The Norwegian that I work with says it should be available via import. (Thanks for the info Margaret at http://www.oddworldz.com/i3m/shrine.html.) Here is some more from Joanna: Rubus chamaemorus or Cloudberry or Baked-apple berry is a light salmon coloured soft raspberry-like fruit (member of the same family.) It grows very far north in Alpine tundra areas like Labrador, Newfoundland, northern New England andScandinavia. The liqueur is made from the berries in Scandinavia.
