Aberlour Single Malt Scotch 1990 Vintage

Aberlour Single Malt Scotch 1990 Vintage Photo

A selection of casks from the 1990 Distillation have been reserved and have produced a distinctive and quite individual version of Aberlour. The main difference being that the sherried influences have been reduced to reveal the 'true' Aberlour Distillery character.

The Aberlour 1990 Vintage is presented in an elegant Tin box and sold only in 1 litre bottle size.

Tasting Notes…

Appearance
Light gold.

Taste
Lightly smoky, typically Speyside. Delicately perfumed, medium bodied. Notes of vanilla, lemon, dark chocolate and a peppery spiciness.

Nose
Soft, pear-like fruitiness, 'barley sugars', 'pear drops' Subtle whiff of sherry tones. Buttery texture.

Finish
Smooth, clean and crisp, but not short on length. A fresh malt which maintains the base 'distillery' flavours. Maturation has contributed to the mellowness of the product and has not been allowed to overpower the true character.
