Drink Type: Cocktail
Ingredients
- 1 oz. Irish Mist
- 1 oz. Calvados
- 1/2 oz. Cointreau
Instructions
Mix with ice in a rocks glass.
One of my favorite novels has the main character pretending to be an Irish bard (Irish Mist) infiltrating the French court of Henri II (Calvados). He is later granted a comte in Sevigny (which would be the Cointreau).
I would call this drink the Thady Boy Ballagh after the faux Irish Bard.
