DeKuyper, the best-selling line of cordials and liqueurs in the U.S., announces a partnership with the Flair Bartenders' Association, where the liqueur brand will be the used in competitions across the country. With more than 11,000 members, the Flair Bartenders' Association offers bartenders the opportunity to work with DeKuyper in five competitions throughout 2008.
In four of the five competitions, bartenders from around the world will compete against each other and be judged based on their creative ability to juggle ingredients, speed of mixing cocktails and accuracy in pouring cocktails. For the fifth competition, DeKuyper will be the lead sponsor in the famous Blue Blazer Challenge, which will be known as the DeKuyper Blue Blazer Challenge in 2008. In the DeKuyper Blue Blazer Challenge, bartenders will create their own signature drinks and be judged on flair and mixology. With nearly 60 diverse flavors in the DeKuyper portfolio, bartenders will be able to create and mix fun, flavorful cocktails.

DeKuyper recently announced a strategic restructuring of its diverse portfolio which consists of nearly 60 flavors. In an effort to simplify the category and consumer shopping experience, the DeKuyper collection will now be organized into five distinct families based on usage. The new families are DeKuyper Luscious, DeKuyper Burst, DeKuyper Pucker, DeKuyper Signature and DeKuyper Brandy. Once a bartender learns how to use one flavor within a family, that knowledge will be transferred to all the flavors that exist within that specific family. Through the Flair Bartenders' Association, bartenders will experience the five families first-hand in competitions.
The Flair Bartenders' Association was created in 1998 to teach the art of flair, grow the sport of freestyle or extreme bartending and support all styles of performance bartending in a safe and fun manner.
