DeKuyper, the best-selling line of cordials and liqueurs in the U.S., sponsored its inaugural Board of Directors meeting May 11 through May 14 during a four-day / three-night trip to Amsterdam - the birthplace of DeKuyper cordials and liqueurs.  The Board of Directors consists of ten trendsetting bartenders who entered DeKuyper's recipe challenge with their winning original recipe.  Entries were judged by a panel of experts based on taste, relevance to the bartender’s city or region and creativity.  

"The first meeting of DeKuyper’s Board of Directors was a great success," said Chris Mahoney, senior brand director, DeKuyper.  "It was a wonderful opportunity to reward bartenders who are on the front lines of cocktail trends and influence consumers' on-premise drink choices.  We were also able to educate bartenders on how they could 'Bump Up' their cocktails with DeKuyper flavors."  

At the first meeting of the Board of Directors, the winning bartenders discussed cocktail trends, shared drink recipes and were challenged with recipe contests.  Contests included creating an original cocktail with DeKuyper's new Strawberry Passion flavor and a DeKuyper history quiz.
