Courvoisier Cognac, one of the world's most luxurious cognac brands, and Beam Global Spirits & Wine, Inc. celebrated in style at the House of Courvoisier celebrity party on September 12 to kick off the couture extravaganza of the season, New York Fashion Week.  The star-studded soiree was held at Sky Studios in Manhattan and featured Courvoisier specialty cocktails like the Courvoisitini (see recipe below).

Over 500 guests stood wall-to-wall in the three-story penthouse that was adorned with Courvoisier-inspired sofa pillows, product and banners on all floors as well as surrounding the rooftop pool.  DJ Biz Markie, the incomparable music master, entertained the crowd as he played tunes throughout the evening and into the early morning hours.  Attending celebrities at this cognac-inspired event included model Tyson Beckford, actor and rap artist Nick Cannon, Nik of America's Next Top Model and comedian Paul Mooney.

BETJ (BET Jazz) was filming at the party, and show hostess Myoshi led a one-on-one interview with Courvoisier brand manager Allen Spence.  An upcoming show featuring the House of Courvoisier party will air in October on BET.

The House of Courvoisier is an exclusive venue for experiencing the finest in entertainment, fashion and art, and was launched at New York Fashion Week in September 2005.  Appearing at exclusive events across the country, the House of Courvoisier has already made stops at the 2006 NBA All-Star Week and the 2006 BET Awards in Los Angeles.
