Craigellachie 14 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Craigellachie Distillery was founded in 1891 by a partnership formed by a group of blenders and whisky merchants. The distillery stands on the spur of a hill, overlooking the precipitous Rock of Craigellachie, the River Spey and Thomas Telfords’ elegant single span Iron Bridge of 1815.

Colour: Old gold

Nose: The warm aroma of freshly baked fruit pudding merges seamlessly with a wisp of smoke and a hint of rubber, for a rich and rewarding aroma

Body: Medium

Palate: A rich malty flavour emerges from this splendidly syrupy palate, with just a sprinkling of crushed hazelnuts

Finish: A delightfully long, delicately dry finish, with a suggestion of charred oak
