Crown Royal Barber ShopLos Angeles (March 3, 2005) The Crown Royal Barbershop made its West Coast debut as the premiere urban destination for haircuts and entertainment at Red Carpet 05, the week-long celebration in preparation for Hollywoods biggest night. Red Carpet 05 took place Feb. 2126, at The Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood and the Crown Royal Barbershop was the place to be for celebrities, industry leaders and VIPs looking for an authentic barbershop experience.

In addition to the Barbershop, Crown Royal showcased a unique lounge environment and created the Crown Royal Lounge as part of the Gentlemans Suite. The Lounge featured a DJ and Crown Royal drink specials throughout the week for the 21 and older crowd. Hip-hop personality Farnsworth Bentley and actor Keith David, who starred in the original Barbershop movie, visited the Crown Royal Barbershop to get haircuts. Overheard in the adjacent Crown Royal Lounge were Tom Green and Willie Garson (Sex and the City) saying they are big fans of Crown Royal. Other celebrities kicking back in the Crown Royal Lounge throughout the week were Desperate Housewives actor Jesse Metcalfe, Shari Headley (Johnson Family Vacation), Neal McDonough (Medical Investigation), Kristoff St. John (The Young and the Restless), hip-hop artist Heavy D, actor and musician Hal Sparks, Kym Whitley (Deliver Us From Eva) and singer Cheryl Lynn.

On Wednesday, Feb. 23, the Crown Royal Lounge played host to a VIP reception with America Magazine, a new venture by Damon Dash of Roc-A-Fella Records. John Salley, former NBA star and host of Fox Sports Best Damn Sports Show Period, attended the party with rising star Darris Love, who is in Spike Lees recent Showtime project Sucker Free City. Also at the party were Malinda Williams (Soul Food) and Renee Wilson (Ray).

The Crown Royal Barbershop, which debuted in New York City last fall, is a custom- tailored experience designed to bring the urban American barbershop to life through the eyes of the brand. The Crown Royal Barbershop features a waiting area with music and haircuts from some of todays hottest barbers, all in a relaxed environment.

Donations were accepted at the Crown Royal Barbershop and Lounge to benefit the Dream Foundation fundraising effort. The Dream Foundation is the first and largest national organization granting dreams for adults. The mission of the Dream Foundation is to enhance the quality of life for individuals and families battling terminal illness.
