Dear Dan, Ok, just a quick blast here with a bunch of recipes to help you out with that Superbowl Party. Whether its the New York Giants or the unbeaten New England Patriots you are cheering for, your friends will be cheering for you with these delicious beverages. Cheers! Dan Hutchinson
As featured on the Happy Hour Show on Fox business News, these Superbowl themed drinks will Absolutely be a hit!
Shake and strain into a martini glass over a brandied cherry, or over ice into a rocks glass.
Add all ingredients except soda to a mixing glass, and shake vigorously, and then add ice and shake again. Strain shaker into a highball and top with Club soda. Garnish with an orange zest (optional).
Muddle blueberries and sugar/simple syrup in a mixing glass. Then add PEARS and lemon juice, shake and strain over ice in a highball. Top with Lemon lime soda, and optional dashes of bitters. Garnish with 3 blueberries and a mint sprig.
While Mexico's number one light cerveza is traditionally enjoyed with a squeeze of lime juice and salt crystals, it can also act as the ultimate base for fresh mixed drinks, including: Tecate Mojito: To update this favorite drink, muddle together six sprigs of fresh mint, 4 tsp. of sugar syrup and 2 tsp. of lime juice in the bottom of a tall, frosted glass. Add 2 Tbl. of light rum (optional) and stir. Pour 12 oz. of chilled Tecate Light into the glass and enjoy! Nueva Cuba: Liberate yourself from the traditional rum-and-coke with this frosty concoction. Pour 6 oz. of Coca-Cola into the bottom of a cold glass, followed by 6 oz. of Tecate Light. Squeeze a lime slice into the mix and drink up! Bloody Bull Lager: A new take on the Bloody Mary, this savory mix features the expected ingredients and more! Mix 2 tsp. of lime juice, ½ cup of spicy tomato juice and 2 Tbl. of vodka (optional) in a glass. Pour 12oz. of ice-cold Tecate Light and stir with a crisp celery stalk. Citrus Explosion: For a quick burst of citrus, pour 6 oz of citrus soda and 6 oz of Tecate Light into the bottom of the glass. Stir well, and enjoy!
