> homemade Irish CreamThere are many recipes for this. Some are complex (cooking sugar into caramel and soaking it in Irish whiskey, then blending with cream and glycerine, adding hints of other flavors) and some are easy (mixing a few ingredients and youre done).
Here is an easy one that doesn't cost much to make...1. Mix 1/2 cup of Sugar, 2 cup of milk or half and half, 1 cup of dry non-dairy creamer* in a bowl. Heat until just warm enough to dissolve the creamer and sugar. Cool completely in refrigerator.
2. Add Irish Cream flavored syrup to taste (available in the coffee section of most grocery stores)
3. Add vodka for the alcohol to your taste (Depending on the freshness of the half and half your mixture may curdle if you put to much alcohol. Remember this isn't supposed to be
proof)
4. Add a tiny bottle of Irish whiskey for authentic flavor if desired.*---could also be made with a small can of evaporated milk instead of non- dairy creamer.Make in small batches that can be consumed readily since you probably don't want to get involved with the bottling process.

3. Pour splash of Irish cream syrup
4. Pour 2 TBS sugar. Drops of vanilla (optional)
-Stir---Add ice---
