Does vermouth have to be refrigerated after the bottle has been opened?

Refrigerate Vermouth?

vermouth should be treated like wine (it is a fortified wine after all).
expect it to go 'off' (stale) after 3 days of being open.
and yes, that does mean that most bars have stale vermouth on their shelves.
use the smaller (350ml) bottles, and if you want to, refigerate the vermouths.
