Bartending 101 Completely new to bartending

Hi Everyone!

I have recently been interested in bar tending but I don't know where to start. I live in New York City and I am looking to take a bar tending class but I don't know what to look out for; especially since almost everything you see on online isn't always true. So does anyone out there have any suggestions? It would be very appreciated!
