i found this drink written somewhere (can't remember) and wrote it down. when i went online to see the ingredients, the Creme De Caco never showed up, but a creme de cacao did. i can't seem to find the definition of Caco and i'm wonder if it's a different liquor or it's just a different spelling.

My instinct is to say that you're probably dealing with a typo.  I suppose it could be a brand name, but I doubt it.  If the drink is suppose to be chocolatey, go with Creme de Cacao; that's what you're looking for.
