I had this drink in Las Vegas where the drink was clear. they did not use any liquers. But had sugar on the rim...what's in it?

***Also, I've tried to ask Bars if I can barback just to get btending experience..Why is it so tough to land a gig? Even if it's 1 week for free I'm willing to do?? I'm taking online classes to get certified at this time. I feel like I'm never going to become a bartender. :sick:
