I was visiting austria for a snowboarding trip, one day there i went to a bar and tried a "martini biana", well it was martini *something begining with b*
I remember it being 4cl, on the rocks.  The drink was clear and was garnished with a lemon.  I tried looking for it on Bar None but did not aquire this recipe.
Thank you for viewing and for any information given.   :)  :D

Sean,

What type of flavour was it?

Let me know and I'll see what I can find.

It was sweet,  had no realy specific taste.  Unlike some other drinks, the alchohol did'nt hit you straight away (like whiskey or other strong beverages). I would say it had a slight lemon flavour, but this maybe from the lemon slice.  It wasnt fizzy so lemonade being added isnt a option.

Hope it helps. :)

Edit:  Also, if i rember correctly, it came from a bottle of "martini",  the extra dry one.  They got a shot from that and then either added another or added something else, i didn't realy pay attention after the first shot of martini being put in.

Is it possible that you were having Martini Bianco vermouth straight up with a slice of lime? I wouldn't drink sweet vermouth this way but...

Or maybe mixed with something like Absolut Citron?

Nothing to worry about.  Without asking the question, you may never have found out.  I'm glad Jason is a bit of a Martini fan, cause I wouldn't have guessed. :)

Cheers,

Dan

Well, on the new site that I'm building you'd get a better list, but this will have to do for now:

Bar None Drinks search for Sweet Vermouth
