By Far, The Best Drink Site Out There!

Just wanted you guys to know, that I have been checking on this site for years and have been comparing this against other sites and I have to tell you, this is absolute the best site out there. When it comes to navigation, searching, and not to mention education, no other site is this concise and easy to use. I often try searching ingredients to see if there are any drinks already available using the ones I'm interested in using. No other site shows as complete and useful a selection as this site. It's not as pretty as some of the other sites, but what I have found is that all the pretty stuff equates to more useless information and make the site very hard too navigate - especially the ones with these "widgets" or "apps" for your smart phone - USELESS!

Thanks you for keeping the site simple, clean, and very informative. It make useful for professionals as well as novices to use and enjoy. Keep up the good work and keep updates coming.

Stir Beefeater Gin and orange bitters over ice until well chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Pour the port gently down the edge of the glass until it slides under the gin mixture.
Have You Tried The Flavored Malt Beverages In Stores Now?

Have any of you tasted the many flavored malt beverages on the market?

The FDA has required suppliers remove the caffeine and some of the energy stimulants from flavored malt beverages, but I also think that many of them have removed any good taste as well now that they are coming back on the shelves.

Between Four Loko, Tilt, Joose, and CJ Crunk Juce, CJ is the only brand of those on the market that wins my taste test. Still haven't tried Blast becuase the website doesn't say if it's in my market or not. What do you all think of the different malt beverages out there? CJ definitely tastes the best to me.
1 oz tequila - I use a good Agave
Stir and then squeeze 1/4 of lime over the drink before dropping it into the drink.

Cherry Bounce/agave Nectar

After katrina (dat beeeyooootch--hope dat don't offend anyone), down here in N'awlins we learned about getting creative with MRE's--my fav was stealing the dried cranberries and dropping them in a jug o' Rum. It was 2-fold good: the cranberries flavored the Rum, and the rehydrated cranberries were good for some mo' buzz.

Anyways, this week I happened to get a couple of deals on Amazon for a 4lb box of dried cherries and some agave nectar--and my wittle brain is still in Mardi Gras mode--heading into St. Paddy's & St. Joe's Days. (Livin' in N'awlins is great--a new festival/parade almost every weekend.)

I got several Cherry Bounce recipes this week: Rum, white sugar, & cherries were my initial goal--but I really like the idea of using the agave nectar instead of the sugar--it should dissolve faster. I guess I'm wondering if the sugar or the agave ferments better?

Basically, I'd be using 1.75 liters clear Rum (a lil more as filler), 1-2 cups sugar, and a bunch of cherries--I'd like to end up with two 1.75 liter jugs o' Cherry Bounce.

I'm not that worried about measurements--I get to consume my "OOOpsies!"

Anybody got any experience with Cherry Bounce?

Thanks.

I've been inspired to stir up the Cherry Gin Fizz cocktail as February is National Cherry month. The juniper notes in gin are a great match with cherry-flavored liqueurs and the soda adds a nice effervesence. Definitely give this refreshing cocktail a try! Cheers!
1½ parts Beefeater Gin
½ part Hiram Walker Cherry Flavored Brandy
½ part Lime Juice
Fill with Club Soda

Hi Everyone!

I have recently been interested in bar tending but I don't know where to start. I live in New York City and I am looking to take a bar tending class but I don't know what to look out for; especially since almost everything you see on online isn't always true. So does anyone out there have any suggestions? It would be very appreciated!
