1 1/2 oz. Rye Whiskey (Or Bourbon) - (more)
Stir the sugar syrup and the bitters in a tumbler until well blended. Add a little Rye and stir well. Add two ice cubes and stir again. Add the rest of the Rye and keep stirring. Garnish with a zest of lemon, a cherry and a spoon, so you can keep stirring.
